What type of networking opportunities can I expect during the Workshop?
There will be networking breaks, lunches, and receptions. You will have the opportunity to schedule short, private one-on-one meetings with the delegates.
Why is it so important that I complete a survey at the end of the Workshop?
USTDA uses your feedback to inform its activities and ensure the align with the original goals and objectives of the event. These survey’s support USTDA’s Program Monitoring and Evaluation Office in tracking and evaluating the impact of the program and helps drive future program design and funding decisions.
Will there be interpretation offered at the workshop?
Yes. Simultaneous interpretation will be offered during the plenary sessions of the Workshop from English to Romanian.
What are the parking arrangements and directions?

What are the Covid-19 protocols and travel requirements for this Workshop?
Travel to Romania:
COVID-19 travel restrictions have been lifted in Romania. Providing proof of vaccination, recovery from COVID-19 or negative test results is no longer necessary, and travelers are not subject to quarantine anymore.
However, restrictions are subject to change so please check with your airline, connecting countries, if applicable, and your final destination to ensure you comply with all requirements.
Workshop Attendance:
In collaboration with the local governmental, tourism, and health authorities, we are committed to providing a safe environment for all Workshop participants according to the latest COVID-19 regulations valid in Romania and at the Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest to ensure well-being of all the involved parties.
Workshop participants are requested to be respectful and kindly consider each and everyone’s additional implemented safety standards, including alternative ways of handshaking, greetings, and the wearing of face masks, even where not officially required by local authorities and/or event venues.
Return travel to the United States:
In response to the COVID-19 testing requirements, please be aware of entry requirements for the United States. Please carefully conduct research to make sure you are getting the correct tests and know the correct testing timeline to fly to the U.S.
Currently, when you travel to the United States by air, you are required to show a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 1 day before travel or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before you board your flight.

Virtual attendees:
What technology do I need for this event?
As a registered, virtual attendee, you will receive an email prior to the event providing a link to watch the event. You do not need to use any special platforms or programs to participate; however, it is recommended that you use Google Chrome to access the event link.
How do I participate as a virtual attendee and/or network with other attendees?
You will be able to watch the live streamed event and submit your questions via the event platform. Networking with other attendees is not available in the virtual event stream.
