Mark David Jones is an acclaimed consultant - having worked with dozens of Fortune 500 companies on six of the seven continents of the world. As an author and highly demanded speaker with over 1,300 keynotes, Mark has a practical, results-focused passion for helping people like you make a difference.
Mark’s first career with the Disney Company spanned 26 years, where he served in numerous leadership roles. As the executive in charge of organization development for the Florida operations, spanning 70,000 employees and hundreds of functional operations departments, Mark also managed Leadership, Creativity & Innovation, and Quality Service initiatives.
While leading The Disney Institute, he also served externally as the senior project manager for numerous highly successful large-scale organizational initiatives for leading domestic and international corporations - many of which are showcased in the Disney-published book Be Our Guest: Perfecting the Art of Customer Service. In recognition of his contribution to the Disney organization, Mark was nominated for the prestigious “Partner’s in Excellence” award – Disney’s highest regarded corporate award. During his doctoral studies, Mark was recruited to lead the consulting team at the Federal Aviation Administration’s national training headquarters. Mark played a key role in the Department of Transportation’s organizational redesign - spearheading initiatives such as executive development, assessment, and design, change dynamics, self-directed work teams, and train-the-trainer programs.
Currently, as the President of the Small World Alliance consulting firm, Mark leads a team of former Fortune 100 executives to provide proven insights and implementation tools to help transform both private and public sector organizations. *His most recent book, Gov Results Now!: Implementation Tools to Optimize Your Public Sector Team is scheduled to launch at the 2024 Summit!
