Shannon Weidekamp

Shannon Weidekamp is the President and Chief Strategy Officer of Equidae Aviation Holdings and CEO of Equus Flight Academy, working to drive the success of Equidae’s journey at all levels of the organization. 

Ms. Weidekamp is a graduate of the Protocol School of Washington and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership.

She is Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for Women in Aviation International, a US Delegate to the Education Commission of the Federation Aeronautique Internationale, a member of the ASTMF46 Aerospace Personnel Committee, a member of the International Society of Air Safety Investigators, a member of Leaders Excellence Harvard Square, and a board member of I Would Rather Be Reading, an organization providing afterschool care and learning for K-5 students. 

In her work, she strives to build greater intercultural leadership and management skills across culturally diverse teams. Over time she has seen first-hand how continuous learning in protocol and international cultural awareness, leads not only to greater employee productivity and engagement, but also to increased professional and personal well-being. She enjoys traveling, golf, visiting museums, and spending time with her family.
